St Anton is found in the western Tyrol, close to the Arlberg Pass and a short drive from southern Bavaria. One of the most exciting and delightful of Tyrolean holiday villages, St Anton combines all the elements of the perfect mountain resort. Holiday highlights include visits to Innsbruck, historic Feldkirch and southern Bavaria.
Day 1
Depart South Wales and travel to Dover for the ferry crossing to Calais, before continuing onto our overnight hotel in Germany.
Day 2
Depart hotel and travel to St. Anton for our 5 night stay.
Day 3 - At leisure in St. Anton
Free day to relax and explore St. Anton. Your summer card includes the use of all cable cars, free admission to the Museum St. Anton am Arlberg and unlimited use of all operating buses running between Landeck and St. Christoph am Arlberg.
Day 4 - Innsbruck
Today we start with a scenic drive along the Inn Valley, where many hilltop castles can be seen, to the capital of the Tyrol, Innsbruck. See the Golden Roof, Imperial Palace and Hofkirche, and take time to relax in this wonderful city at the heart of the Alps.
Day 5 - Oberammergau
Travel over the Fern Pass and across the border into Germany’s Ammergau Alps for a visit to the wonderful village of Oberammergau, renowned for its history, wonderful selection of painted houses and long tradition of woodcarving.
Day 6 - Feldkirch
Half day excursion travelling west into Vorarlberg for a visit to the historic town of Feldkirch. The well-preserved medieval centre at the foot of the Schattenburg, the ancestral seat of the Counts of Montfort, is a charming setting for this enchanting town.
Day 7
Leave Austria for the return journey to Germany and our overnight stop.
Day 8
Travel to Calais for the ferry crossing to Dover and the journey home.
